Speaker: Tony Espinosa, Minority Business Enterprise Program Analyst, Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise
Tony serves as a Minority Business Enterprise Program Analyst with the Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise where he provides guidance and assistance to small minority owned businesses wanting to do business with the Turnpike and FDOT. He is a well-rounded professional with expertise in government contracting, procurement, supply management, and supplier diversity. His work experience includes 22 years in the military and employment with several local government agencies and small businesses, notably 7 years as the Procurement Technical Assistance Center Manager for the East Central Florida region. He has been recognized as the National Association of Small Business Development Center’s 2012 Florida Star of the Year for his outstanding commitment, performance and contributions to the small business community in Central Florida. Tony earned his Master of Arts Degree in Procurement and Acquisitions Management from Webster University and is also a Certified Professional Public Buyer.
• This presentation is designed to outline the processes of conducting business with Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise and FDOT. It will also address MBE certification, Resources, Potential Opportunities, and the Business Development Initiative.
